William Wallace wrote: “Every man dies. Not every man really lives.” For many years I have found myself fascinated with the development and progression of language beside my own. Confidence and good communication skills have continuously helped me to interact well with people. Having had many jobs that involve contact with the public, I feel this has allowed me to better these skills through situations that have sometimes challenged me.
Going to University will give me the ability to become far more specialized in English and would be a perfect progression in order to use it in a professional career like I hope and plan to. I have chosen to study English because I have a deep interest in computer technology and it has always been my ambition to put my knowledge of IT along with English. Through my dedication to study and working at the best of my ability, I wish to take my current knowledge to the next level and therefore by gaining a degree I will be able to reach my ambitions.
I would describe myself as an intellectual, ambitious and direct person. To be rather frank I find this course a bit monotonous but essential to reach my goals in this so called life. Although I do believe I am making the right choice applying here as I find the environment and community rather unique and one of its kind. I also believe this university is perfect to develop myself as an individual. Perhaps also an opportunity to find a potential partner.
